From One Farm to an International Supplier.
Wadi Al Lawami didn't start as a garden supply business, and it didn't start under this name. In 1987, it began as Al Siyabi Trading & Contracting, a working farm business managing land and cultivating crops the hard way, long before "sustainable horticulture" was a phrase anyone used.
By 2002, that farming knowledge had turned into a nursery, propagating plants for garden centres across Oman. By 2005, it had grown into a full agriculture and horticulture trade, with garden centres established across the Muscat Governorate under the name Nile River Golden Garden, the root of the name we carry today: "Wadi," in both Arabic and Hindi, means river bed or valley, a deliberate nod back to that Nile River heritage.
In 2012, the business became Wadi Al Lawami International LLC, bringing decades of farming and horticultural experience under one name with a base in Oman. That growth continued in 2019 with Wadi Al Lawami United, formed to give it a dedicated focus on growing, propagating and supplying the plants themselves, distinct from the wider trading business.
Most recently, in 2025, that same instinct crossed the water: Ravenia International LLP was established in India as our sister company, extending the group's reach into one of the world's fastest-growing horticultural markets and giving customers on both sides of the Arabian Sea a single, trusted source.
